But, I feel like there are certain "ingredients"/factors/criterias that are necessary to create a successful blog. The good blogs that I have read seem to be:
- Insightful
- Funny/witty/tongue-in-cheek
- Drama-filled
- Emotionally 'touching'
However, I feel that the very best blogs are the ones that don't give a sh*t about what other people think. As if they write on their own terms and they don't write just to get more comments or more readers but they write because it is from the heart.
So that's what I'm going to do.
Heck, I think I've always been good at living life on my own terms anyway.

Wonderful first post - yes, I tracked you back through that charming profile pic ... Turkish oil wrestlers? What fun. i tend to agree with you about the crieria for an interesting blog, hence I never read mine, but having passed comments on other blogs, I feel it only fair to expose a bit of the commenter's own psyche for inspection!
Have a wonderful day!

Oh yes - I am dyslexic AND a lazy typist - doomed to failure from the outset!

i like you. almost as much as i like grapefruit.
D but C - You may be dyslexic and a lazy typist, but you still made the first comment on my blog. I owe you my life.
J - You live in America, I live... well... not in America. This love affair can not continue :(.
I think I'm gonna like this blog. :)

Just write what's on your mind rather than trying to impress others. Those that love your blog will comment, and for the others, there are plenty of other blogs to visit! - V.
